From the top man right down to the bottom man, this
passes right down the line, everybody pushes for quality.
Willie Rawles, Utility Man - this is who we are and
what we do at General Motors.
My job is to replace any
absentees from here, there all-over the plant. You know
your not tied down to one job all the time, you run
different jobs, mill finishin', weldin', solderin',
but solderin', I think I enjoy solderin' more than any
other job I done, cause there's a lot of skill in that.
The fella's keep something going all the time, it's
never dull around here. Ye'all get along very good,
yeah the people on the line have a lot of interest in
their cars, yeah if I was going out to buy a car that's
what I'd do I'd be lookin' for a General Motors car
because I work right down the plant and I see how they
are built, you know, I see the quality that goes into
them.
