The
EH was not significantly different from the earlier EJ model, however
the small refinements in style and the introduction of the infamous Holden Red motor saw sales skyrocket - thus making it one of
the most sought after Australian built classics of today.
The improvements in performance over the old "Grey" motor
were significant. An important consideration when choosing a collectable
or unique car is its ability to be driven in normal traffic conditions
(even if it is only to be on weekends), and the EH certaily fits
the bill.
Parts are still plentiful however numbers have dwindled over the
last 20 years as rust was a major enemy. But scarcity has made surviving
EH's extremely popular and collectable.
