| Studebakers and Packards will be on display at a free outdoor car & truck show in Custer, SD, on Sunday September 6 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Vehicles manufactured in four decades will be shown which will be both restored and modified models. The Dakotas Chapter of the Studebaker Drivers Club is the sponsor. Visitors to the show can vote for their favorite car or truck. Trophies will be awarded that evening at a banquet. The 2014 Cedar Lake Summerfest Car Show, which will be held on Sunday, July 6, is about two topics near and dear to the heart of area residents. Cars, trucks and motorcycles are the focus of the show.
The other topic of the show is to bring region awareness and new customers for sponsors or pay tribute to an individual. The show will feature all types, makes, models and years of vehicles. The second purpose of the show is to raise money for local charities, including the Project Love Food Pantry, Boy Scout Troop 105, and Cedar Lake’s very own L’arc en Ciel Community Theatre Group.
