The Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 was the fastest
pre-war production car - a feat no doubt attributable
to the fact that it was designed as a racing car.
Using the absolute latest technology available at the
time, it featured independant suspension and a double
overhead camshaft engine with superchargers.
Under the management by Enzo Ferrari, it won countless
victories in different events, such as the Brazilian GP,
the Spa 24 Hour race and totally dominated the Mille Miglia for several years.
